Anyone who thinks President Obama will
prioritize or will work to resolve the
partisan impasse over taxing and
spending issues hasn't been watching for
the last four years.
His priorities will be to pay back his
major supporters. That puts some form
of immigration policy and union
organizing efforts at the top. He will
work jobs/economic issues only to the
point of being able to blame Republicans
for failures to get agreements in the
hopes of removing their House majority
in midterm.
The last two years of Obama's term will
then be his unbridled movement on old
progressive issues.

Afghanistan, got rid of Moammar
Gadhafi, turned Egypt and Libya
democratic, prevented a second Great
Depression, passed ObamaCare, saved
Detroit and more. President Obama is a
boss.

Obama will get totally immersed in
something like immigration or guns, as
he did with health care in the first term,
while expenses and the whole fiscal
situation spiral further out of control.
That will be what ultimately brings us
down to rock bottom, not immigration
reform or gun control.
